Unfrosted cake layers are purchased by shape, size, and total layers. The most popular choice is an eight-inch round cake with two layers. Each layer is plastic wrapped and is recommended to be stored in a freezer (not refrigerator) before being frosted. Each cake can last up to 3 months in a freezer.

A half sheet is two quarter sheet layers. A full sheet is three quarter sheet layers.
Buttercreams
All buttercreams are sold in individual 32-ounce containers. Buttercream can be placed in a refrigerator for up to 3 months or freezer for 6 months. One container will fill and frost one two-layer eight in round cake. Ask us how much buttercream you need for your project.
